life really is short..

i know the topic itself is boring as you and I have heard this zillion times....so i thought how much this one more time would matter...
Was in a training sessions a few days back and the training on career management. The trainer was definitely a superb guy who knew how to sell the concept and during the session, just one statement from him made me get into my ever thinking mode. He asked each one of us that do we really love what we are doing right now...if given a chance, would we choose something else to work on, somewhere else to work...i know this crazy but sensible (read i am just being sarcastic) thought crosses each one of our's mind sometime or the other and we get into this thought process of quitting it all and doing what we really like...but then...boom...reality strikes and we get back to our sanity.
But if we really come to think of it, then life really is too precious to be wasted for something which would probably make us question ourselves if not today but may be 20 years down the line (i can't think beyond 20 right now)...
Leave aside even work for that matter, there are so many other things in our lives for which we wait and wait for the right moment. For instance, may be just saying something to others; like appreciating someone for a great job done or telling our siblings or friends that we love them. We feel like that we aren't supposed to say this as they already know it or we would say it the next time we meet. But what if there is no next time, because as I said...life is short.
So, don't wait for life to give you signals, turn the light green yourself and go ahead with what you want to do or say or feel. We all know that life doesn't wait for anyone but yet we think we are special and it should wait for us...who are we fooling!
All I would say is...do what you like, express whatever and whenever you feel, live however you want to...because it doesn't matter what others would think...remember that they won't come to wipe your tears away when you are sulking in your room (or which is terrace for me), just live how you would want to live.

Hope it made some sense to you...it definitely made some to me at least...
